Niobium Microsystems, a leading provider of Zero Trust Computing solutions and Silicon Highway Technologies (SiHi), a Physical Design Services start-up, are excited to reveal their collaboration to develop the industry’s first Full-Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) accelerator. This dedicated FHE System-on-Chip (SoC) opens the door to a multitude of innovative applications, unlocking the intrinsic value of data while maintaining its privacy. It also paves the way for new applications across various industries, including finance, healthcare, logistics, and beyond..
SiHi engineers collaborated closely with the Niobium team to tackle hardware physical design challenges in the accelerator project. Through this partnership, various obstacles in chip design and implementation were overcome successfully. Additionally, SiHi employed its Asynchronous Timing Analysis EDA tool, known as “ASTA,” to assess and analyze the cyclic circuit components of FHE. ASTA facilitated the analysis of large mixed synchronous and asynchronous circuits, thereby reducing the traditional design cycle time for cyclic circuits.
